Car Detailing
FAQ

Straight answers about pricing, timing, mobile setup, pet hair, stains, smoke smell, water, power, booking, and what to expect from a DetailCraft appointment.

Pricing

Cost & Quotes

How much does mobile car detailing cost?

+

Exterior details start around $80, interior details start around $140, and full details start around $200. The final price depends on vehicle size and condition. A clean sedan and a trashed SUV are not the same job.

Why can the price change?

+

Pet hair, stains, smoke smell, throw-up, sand, heavy dirt, larger vehicles, or neglected interiors all add time and product cost. Cheap fixed prices for every car are how bad details happen.

Do you give quotes before arrival?

+

Yes. Send your vehicle type, the service you want, and a quick description of the condition. Photos help confirm the quote faster and avoid surprises.

Service

Mobile Setup & Timing

Do I need to provide water or power?

+

No. DetailCraft is mobile and brings the setup needed for most appointments, including water and power.

Where can you detail my car?

+

A driveway is best. Quiet residential parking can work depending on the location. Busy lots or restricted apartment garages can be an issue if management complains or there is no safe working space.

How long does a detail take?

+

Exterior details are usually faster, interiors can take 1.5–3+ hours, and full details often take 2–4 hours depending on size and condition. Heavy pet hair, odor, or stains take longer.

What areas do you service?

+

DetailCraft serves Philadelphia, Camden NJ, Cherry Hill, South Jersey, the Main Line, and surrounding areas depending on schedule and travel distance.

Problem Vehicles

Stains, Odor, Pet Hair & More

Can you remove pet hair?

+

Yes, but heavy embedded pet hair is an add-on because it takes real labor. Some carpets hold hair badly, so full removal depends on material and severity.

Can you remove smoke smell?

+

Smoke odor can usually be improved heavily with deep cleaning and odor treatment, but permanent odor depends on how long the vehicle was smoked in, whether the headliner is contaminated, and how deep the smell is in the fabric.

Can you remove every stain?

+

No honest detailer should promise every stain will disappear. Many stains can be improved or removed, but old dye transfer, bleach marks, burns, and damaged fabric can be permanent.

Do you clean throw-up or bio mess?

+

Depending on severity, yes, but it requires a proper quote and may cost more than a normal interior detail. That kind of job needs deeper cleaning, odor treatment, and extra time.

Still unsure?

Send your vehicle type and condition.

The fastest way to get the right quote is simple: send sedan/SUV/truck, what service you want, and any pet hair, stains, odor, sand, or spills.
